Sad news. I was fortunate to see Buck and his daughters perform many times, the first of which I was as part of a memorable double bill at the Lone Star Cafe (40-foot iguana sign and all) in lower Manhattan with the New Grass Revival in the early ‘80s.

Not sure how someone born in 1934 could be 94 years of age, but still sorry to hear of Buck's passing.

I played with Buck and his daughters in the early 70’s when they first moved to Nashville from Texas. Buck was one of the kindest and caring people I have ever met. I know he loved his wife and children dearly.

He was a super musician and had wonderful time - Duane Hester played violin with the group. Buck was outstanding.
