Just a heads up that we've finalized the design for the 2025 Banjo Hangout Players Union shirts. You can see them below...
The front of the shirt uses the "1000x" design we sell as a standalone shirt in the store. (This design, if you aren't aware, was inspired by the seminal "Earl Scruggs and the 5-String Banjo" book and its admonition to "learn each exercise well before proceeding to the next one." The exercises that follow these instructions include repeat x1000 or repeat x100 signs! We all know learning the banjo involves a lot of repetition, so it seems like a fitting design for the Players Union... and a good banjorific conversation starter.)
The back of the shirt keeps with the learning theme, featuring a university-style design.
Hope you all love it. And thanks for supporting the site over the years with your Players Union membership. The the other day I was hanging out with our first (and only) grandchild, baby Grae, and remembering when her mother (our oldest child, Bella) was born back in 2003. The medical bills from that difficult pregnancy were mostly covered thanks to the first t-shirt sales on the Banjo Hangout (remember the original "I pick; therefore, I grin" shirt?)
My family and I really appreciate the support, and I hope in turn the BHO site has provided lots of value to you over the years.

I am hoping - please, please, please - if you definitely cannot offer us gals a long sleeve version along with the guys version (even though I hope you'll consider?) - would you at least offer the long sleeve version in a size small, so us gals can get closer to something that fits? I'd really love the chance to get a long sleeve!
