I have a 1918 Orpheum tenor banjo with an especially grimy fretboard. I mean award winning grime. You can’t see some of the inlays grime.

I plan to get after it with naphtha and a toothbrush.

What say ye?

Use Formula 409; naphtha is risky. Be patient and do not saturate the fretboard.
