Been finishing up some projects and hope to sell off some. I sure have a bunch of banjo stuff too good to throw away but not really worth to sell. Ebay used to be worth selling but the fees have gone up to high to make it worthwhile to list, and if I do sell something the taxes make it a wash. I have been just throwing away good vintage parts and woods that I horded for years thinking I would use. But oh well . Not a whole lot of banjo builders left anymore. time to head down to good will and drop off sum stuff.
I've been in your situation just recently & had to clear out a storage space full of the flotsam & jetsam of the musical instrument world. I put a bunch up on Craigslist, & also contacted a circle of friends, artists, flippers & small dealers & gave much of it away. I guess I took a loss, but I have no regrets. After being in the music business for a long time I realized that, " sometimes you get the peanuts, & sometimes you get the shells".

They have in the UK for private sellers. Not sure about the US. And I don't know what constitutes a 'private seller'.
I admit to having some things in the garage and basement that I have moved with me from North 21st, to North Bartlett Av, to south Sixth, to 9th Av ( in an entirely different town), and to my current address, planning to Do Something with them.
And if I lived any closer, I'd come relieve you of as much of YOUR stuff as I could hope to eventually Do Something with.

It too bad that we didn't get to our son's in Van Nuys for Thanksgiving this year. It we had, I'd still be there and would have been happy to run up Thousand Oaks and bring some of that stuff back to Pennsylvania. Unfortunately we won't get out that way until May at the earliest. My wife has surgeries scheduled in January and April. Of course, I do have some things I should be disposing of as well.
