Hi everyone, I lurk around BHO but am not an active contributor by any means.
But after watching Shawn Walters' recent Cubley banjo collection video on Youtube, I felt inspired to make a video walkthrough of my Dobson Brothers banjo collection. I thought possibly some of the regulars here that read the BHO Collector's Corner may find interest in an overview video of my Dobson collection.
In this video, I attempt to make a detailed review of the Dobson patents and major trademarks held by the family in chronological order and reference examples that I either have in the shop for setup work, or that I have in my personal collection.

Apologies for the length of the video! I feel like I missed a lot of information in spite of the excessive video length!
Thanks,
Kyle
Thank you Kyle. I thoroughly enjoyed the presentation and didn't have any trouble sticking around to the end. I am a frequent reader at the Hangout but don't post much either.
To anyone that hasn't been lucky enough to play one of Kyle's Silver Bell reproductions I can say they are beautiful and sound incredible. He was kind enough to invite me to his home to play one that I was interested in and I was amazed. At the time, I hadn't been playing long enough that I felt I deserved that level of instrument. I kick myself! I may not have known much at that time but I know what I want a banjo to sound and play like.
