I am currently looking at options for protecting a thumb drive which will contain financial information relating to my will. This will be held by my lawyer (we call them Solicitors here) until my decease and the reading of my will. My EpoA (enduring power of attorney) will have the code but will not get access to it until that time. I want this layer of security just in case someone in the lawyers' office decides to get greedy. I have been warned off Windows Bitlocker but my IT guy has recommended a numerical thumb drive available on Aliexpress Encrypted USB Drive

I have done a search online and it gets a bit daunting. Can anyone recommend a simple way to do it?

I recommend ironkey by kingston. Its soo good the defense industry uses it to transport classified material.
