Google has signed an agreement with a company called Kairos to develop small modular nuclear reactors to meet its anticipated power needs due to AI. Microsoft is financing a restart of the undamaged reactor at Three Mile Island for the same reason..

Yeah...can't believe they plan to restart up TMI just for AI.
Imo, no private company should be allowed to start such an operation to serve themselves.

If AI starts fearing it's mortality--in other words realizes concludes "I am"--it will be a glutton for electricity and materials to build more computers--it's obesity will be in the form of phones the size of a new york phone directory
