Chubby Checker had nothing on Don Reno when it came to twisting. Don bent every note in that song from behind the head nut (ouch)..I love this piece and remember when Don first played this at New River Ranch Md. I was about 10 years old I think....Jack p.s. Thank you Hans....

Thanks for posting this, Jack.
Allen Shelton showed me how to play it with D-tuners (how many people can say that?).
I remember seeing a clip of an old TV show and Don reached up between the keys and bent the strings. I learned how to do it that way and would use it sometimes as a show gimmick. Just make sure the string ends are clipped close to the pegs.

Yes, Allen was always generous and loved talking with his admirers and showing them all kinds of goodies. You were one of the lucky ones HA...Jack   p.s. I just changed the washers on my Keith Tuners...bending behind the head nut hurts...ouch....
