Hey guys, are there any of our players here who have had total reverse left shoulder replacement? Are you able to fret and play properly after rehab??....Thanks..... Pete

I have had surgery, different from yours, but it did impact my left arm for several weeks.
I don’t know if this is considered advisable, but I just practiced on open strings, practicing rolls and trying to focus on timing.
Others may weigh in and advise against this, but I think it was beneficial.

I had rotator repair and biceps tendon repair about 10 years ago. Still have to stretch before playing and it gets a little sore if I play too long, but you should be able to build back up. Go slow, take your time and focus on range of motion. You may have to readjust your positioning to make yourself more comfortable.

Good luck!

It's onto a bit of a tangent, and it's not offered as advice, but ...... I've had more than a couple of orthopedic surgeries [no shoulder replacements; knock on wood] but when I look back, the rehab. advice of the doc that did the two that I figure are right up there as being the most successful was: "Movement as tolerated."   Now, in fairness they weren't the most complicated ones, but I like that he apparently (?)  gave me a wee bit of credit w.r.t. having something on the ball.  yes
