Apparently butter is being stolen. https://www.ctvnews.ca/canada/here-s-why-thieves-may-be-stealing-butter-in-canada-1.7107341

I dunno just how the po-leece go about investigating these things, but I figure they should bide their time.   We've had "The Great Maple Syrup Heist" ..... now it's the butter.   So >> when the next big community pancake breakfast rolls around  >> well 2 + 2 = ???

Edit:  [FF] ????

Do you keep track of full moons by some internal* clock (?), or notification from  a smart watch, or get it from a calendar, or ??

Nowadays my interest in full moons is pretty much limited to enjoying looking at them.... and most months I do check the calendar.   Yesterday [I know, a day early] it was so cloudy it wasn't worthwhile .... tonight is worse.  sad

No keeping track - I see them when I see them. Sometimes it will be mentioned in conversation or in the media when it's significant. Today, on my way to the open mic in Sunbury, I wished I had my camera. The full moon was shining over an evening sky of pink and purple clouds. Closer to Sunbury it was shrouded but still shone through. No Camera - rats!

My old uncle had a small jewelry store for many years. He maintained that under a full moon he would get at least 2 weird or obnoxious customers before noon.

When the kids behaved particularly weirdly, fellow teachers would inevitably comment on the fact that we were under a full moon.

I drove a cab for a couple of years in the 1970’s,, full moon nights were always wilder.

As part of my new no/low carb, no sugar diet, I cut out breads. Unfortunately, butter is a by-standing casualty. But to be honest, the bread only held the delicious butter to begin with.

I keep track using a Planeteco Moon Master. I find it to be quite helpful for my pancake making. Ps I make pancakes on full moons because when I was a youngling I thought the moon looked like a pancake

If you say what I have alleged Desi to have said, it SOUNDS like Spanish, to a person who does not KNOW Spanish.
This is the "Off Topic" section, where things not very banjo related get posted.
Since your account is very VERY new, I shall not call upon any of the eight hundred and two persons on my Friends list to track you down, and play their banjos, amplified AND out of tune, while you are trying to learn to get along with people who enjoy the Off Topic section.

A little kindness goes a long way, so mine goes all the way to your home.

".... SOUNDS like Spanish, to a person who does not KNOW Spanish."

Reminds my of 'way back when Jean Cretin [sic] was our Prime Minister.  In the midst of some press event or other about something in Asia, apparently he had [mistakenly] referred to somebody from the region as "Chinese."  A reporter saw an opportunity to "trip him up" for the unforgivable folks pass [sic] but when he was asked, he just shrugged it off with, "Well, he look Chinese to me."  ... and I think it pretty well ended there.
