I've been unemployed since 2006, recovering from a disability. I took electrical engineering classes in college and was grasping most of it, but I never graduated because the disability to be was starting to affect me. Later I worked in customer service for 15 years in hardware stores. During part of that time I played banjo for a bluegrass band from Tennessee. It's kind of humbling, though I'm thankful for some extra income, I'll be able to keep my disability benefits and work a limited number of hours at a local gas station. I'm very thankful indeed.
