Any help identifying my open back Banjo would be greatly appear appreciated. It has great tone and plays wonderfully. It has a serial number, stamped on the dowel, and prior burned into the other side. Just a moon and star on the headstock. Posting pictures as well, thank everyone in advance for any info.

Post the pictures directly to this forum. Though they are on your media page, making them easily accessible on this page will get you more replies.
When you (and only you) view this page, you can scroll down to an attachments box that has your media photos. click on each one and they will appear in "your attachments" box. Then click post reply.
Very simple and much more convenient for us that have sucky internet connections.
I'll also recommend adding more images. Seeing close ups of hardware can sometimes help ID the era the instrument was made.

Thanks for nudging my memory. I do remember you and the great night of music at the Ice House.
Pictures are now easily accessible. If you can add more that includes the hardware the BHO Experts might have some ideas of who made your banjo.
