Somewhat fitting for Remembrance Day , November 11. Fiddle player Jay Ungar wrote this in 1982 as a lament , it later became the theme music for Ken Burns’ documentary “The Civil War”.
I play it fingerstyle on the Martin D-35 with rhythm guitar backup; arrangement by “GuitarNick”.
