I think this was tune of the month about 12 years ago here on the hangout, I have a video playing the same song in the same period with my old vegaphone professional (I miss it so much!)

Paolo, yes, the banjo-mandolin is still at my house: it has a metal rim. Then I removed 4 strings to understand how it could sound in this version, but I haven't played it anymore. Thanks for posting your version, which I liked very much.

that is a wonderful job--though I don't play four string--but music is music--I liked the tone Eddy Davis got with his muted bridge-- for my taste --it was a bit better at knocking the treble back --but a half percent of "not my tone" is nothing in comparison to that early jazz type big-band music --played well---I was playing a little "basin Street ""while ago-another one on the streets then
