There's a clawhammer tab in the Library based on Dock Boggs' recording. It's in TablEdit which means you may need to get the free TefView software to view and play it.

I will give it a try. I will (probably) choose fDGCD tuning since Dock's version is in F/Dm. Most of the notes will be exactly as in the three-finger version, with some fifth string notes added, and change some first string notes to fifth string (melody notes should be the same but embellishments notes or fill-out notes may be changed).
Here is a clawhammer version, based on the tab above.
Please, observe that I have changed tuning to fDGCD from gDGCD because f as a drone sounds better than g as a drone.

I put a copy of Sugar Baby in the tab archive if you can use it. Keep in mind that Doc Boggs or any players of that generation played both two/three fingerstyle and mixed it with Clawhammer...Jack Baker
