I logged on this morning to post this tune, and the first thing I saw was Adam Hinkel’s post on converting Double C tunes in to spooky tunes. So, hopefully this makes a good addendum to his post/video.

This is a piano piece composed by Flavio Belrado that I re-arranged for banjo. He called it “Secret Piano” but because my banjo arrangement is meant to be a Halloween tune, I gave it the subordinate name, “spooky tune”.

Tab is in my tab collection if you want to give it a go: https://www.hangoutstorage.com/banjohangout.org/storage/tabs/s/tab-spooky-tune-ch-27501-51251726102024.pdf

Nice one, Jack.

Have a good, spooky Halloween - suitably fueled by this tune.

We were definitely vibing alike!  Double C--it's a major, modal and minor tuning all in one. No wonder folks love it. Glad you reminded folks of that with your video.

Couldn't have said it better. Such a versatile tuning!

I liked it. If it wasnt named "spooky tune" and I just listened to it without knowing, Id have thought it cheerful and fun for a campfire dance!

Half full brain I guess.

I like this song very well as a minor scale piece of music but to me it’s just sad because it does not have the tritone a.k.a. the devils interval in it,in thjs case you would need a G flat also known as in F sharp to bring the spook.
