I'm looking at a used banjo that the music store has listed as an Epiphone MB-200 banjo.
The head is Epiphone, but then also says Gibson on it.
Is there a way to identify if the store has the model number correct from the picture?
I am assuming this might be an older banjo. Any other Epiphone MB-200 banjos I find don't have "Gibson" on the head.
If anyone can assist with identifying this I'd appreciate the help.

I believe that Epiphone did have an MB200 model banjo and there is, or was, a connection between Gibson and Epiphone at one time so I expect the info you have from the store is probably correct. Even if most music store personnel don't know diddly concerning banjos, they probably do have info on their inventory to provide to the public.
