Heres rare gem .Ralphs only break is an up the neck one. Very straight . He starts the song with a little turn around.
In order to keep everything on one page i had to shift measures over so that each line of the chord progression begins two measures over. I marked it so its easier to follow.
The measure where line 3 begins its sounds like Ralph kinda goofed on the first two notes but then again maybe he did it on purpose. Slow the youtube video down and youll hear what i mean

Thank you Gary ! What a great old song !
I own probably 30-35 Stanley Brothers / Ralph Stanley albums, seen Ralph live in concert at least 15-20 times, and yet I am constantly amazed that at least once or twice a year I hear a song from them, that I've never heard before !
Carter and Ralph ( especially Ralph ) left us with an absolutely incredible body of recorded music.
Really nice work Gary, Jack

Hearing a previously never heard Stanley Bros or Ralph Stanley and CMB song for the first time is truly special. Some of those live recordings folks put up on YouTube have 1 or 2 hidden gems sometimes and it makes my day
