Anybody notice this tasty morsel in the BHO Classifieds today?

I believe this makes 10 out of the suspected 12 that were made, that I have seen evidence of in the 15+ years I've been surveying the market.

That ain't right.
Read the text of the ad......5 tuners in the headstock + 1 regular 5th string tuner = 6.
The neck with 4 holes and 3 tuners is the original 5 string neck (obviously with one tuner missing)
Do you see who the seller is ? Obviously not some "fly-by-night" scammer
Ceres Banjo Works
I would love to know the reason for Sonny's need to padlock his banjo resonator!

I said nothing about a scammer.
Two photos clearly show 4 tuners in the headstock, not 5. The truss rod cover is different. Some images show strings, some don't.
These pics don't add up. And they have the same background. Maybe they accidentally mixed some images from two different banjos, or they were taken long ago ('60s-70s) but have the photographic clarity we'd expect today.
I'm curious.

Some pictures show the 6 string headstock while others show the original 5 string headstock with one tuner removed that was used on the six string

Evidently, when the Banjo was backstage, someone had removed the resonator to inspect or possibly even sabotage the electronics installed. Either way it may have happened more than once and Sonny put a stop to that.

The photos will "add up" if you take the time to actually read the ad, where you will learn than both the custom six string neck AND the original five string neck are included in the sale.

As I didn't understand the reply, I had to look it up with an internet search.
Sonny explains Krako here.
I think Kyle might be right about the padlocks!
