This is me and a buddy. We recorded it so that the vocal lead isn't loud enough lol.

Yes, the vocal isn't loud enough. Going to guess that's mic placement.

You guys play and sing well enough that it's worth experimenting to get the balance right. Especially if you're not going to send instruments and vocals to separate tracks for mixing.

Love your backup on the banjo. Those folks wanting to learn backup should listen closely to what you are doing and get some great ideas from you. Thanks for posting.

Well done, this what I consider the epitome of New Grass Revival songs! That is of their vocals.

Thanks all for listening. The mandolin/guitar/bass/lead vocal was done by Andy Hatfield, a well known guitar teacher in the ranks. I played banjo and that's about it.
