Hi David
I've always wanted an Ode Model 'D' as so many of the players I've admired over the years chose them over Gibson. As you'll have found, they're rare as hens' teeth here in the UK. Have you seen this one on UK eBay ? ebay.co.uk/itm/145994359560?_n...ZA&edge=0
If I hadn't already found my life-time banjo, I'd be tempted.
Regards
Harry

Hi Harry
Thanks for the reply ! Yes I have seen this but I think the asking price is too high. I might expect to pay that for a Baldwin bannered D but not a later model. No tool to adjust the neck and it is currently set up with an 11/16ths bridge which is a tad high.
I am a seasoned player ( 40 years ) and know the score. Honestly if it was a bit closer to me I might take a look but the price would have to come down a fair chunk. They are about, I may have to order one in from the states even though it gets costly...
Nice chatting !
Cheers
Dave
