Don't you just hate it when whiners complain about a problem you wish you had?
Here we are in the very heat of summer, when bug activity is guaranteed to be high and I have no bugs. No ants, no fruit flies, no flying things at all, no bees, no wasps, no mosquitoes, no mites, no aphids, no spiders, nada. Even the neighbor's cat is flea-less. On the one hand, it is really pleasant to not be bothered by pests. On the other... where the heck did they all go?

The left coast does not seem to have much of a bug problem. (A bug's life cycle goes from egg to adult, breed & die). I was buzzed by a Dragonfly yesterday morning while sitting in the hot tub. Evidently a female looking for enough water to deposit her eggs. No doubt had her eye on the hot tub, although, to her credit, somehow realized they would not survive neither the chemicals, nor the elevated temperature of the water.

You and I have the same life cycle.
