In April Buddur had a [now-archived] post about hummingbirds.  https://www.banjohangout.org/archive/396861

Well, here in beautiful west-central Man-ee-toe-bah, after a break [I'm guessing to get 'em hatched] they're back in full force ... 3 or 4 at the feeder at the same time, chasing each other about, dodging bees/wasps, etc. If history repeats, after a week or so of this they'll head south.

... and so as to not disappoint/mislead anybody, here's a recent pic from near Winnipeg... from Skilled Truckers Canada >> my Facebook page >> BHO. [It looks like police tape ... I've no idea what the story is.]

From the subject, I wondered which it would be when I opened the thread. Would have preferred hummingbirds, but hummers are okay for those that like them.

And I thought it was about those boxy gluttonous vehicles.

I have a another week of them, I think. I always take my kids on vacation toward the end of August, and when I'm gone noone refills my hummingbird feeders. Because of this, they never seem to come back around when I finally get home and refill them. I believe it's either because they think the food is no longer available and they move on to another area...or they have started their southern migration around this time.
