I just picked up a 2004 Gibson banjo and it needs a slight truss rod tweak to put a little relief in the fingerboard. So I have to buy a truss rod wrench. Stew Mac offers 1/4", 9/32" and 5/16". $20 each. What size should I order please?

The truss rod nut on my Gibson RB100 was 5/16". I doubt Gibson changed that.

My 1990 model uses 1/4"

A 1/4 drive socket wrench with an extension and a short/standard (not deep) socket should work.
