This guy drinks a gallon of diet coke per day..sheesh. He says he does it to lose weight and limit his alcohol consumption. Quite a trade-off.

Is it Donald Trump? The NY Times reported he drinks 4.5 quarts a day. (12 12-oz. cans).

The real problem with “diet” sodas is the Aspartame and other artificial sweeteners. OTOH, Trump is 77 and his Diet Coke habit apparently has not resulted in serious illness. I drink too much of it, and I’m hanging on. So who knows?

“ According to the International Food Information Council, the FDA has set an acceptable daily intake (ADI) for aspartame of 50 milligrams per kilogram (mg/kg) of body weight per day. The EFSA has set a lower ADI of 40 mg/kg per day.

Most people will not reach these ADI amounts. If a person weighs 68 kg, they would need to drink around 19 cans of soda or consume over 85 packs of aspartame every day to exceed the ADI.”  -  MedicalNewsToday

Some studies show that’s it’s possibly linked to cancer,, so I’ve always avoided it,, not that I like the taste of diet soft drinks anyway.

Once again AlFigmoStud has presented us with a link to that cesspool of racism and conspiracy theory 'b i t c h u t e', forgetting that the BHO considers that we are too delicate to see a common term for a female dog. Replace the asterisks with 'itch' and you'll be fine.

There are a few more unhealthy ingredients to soda pops than just the artificial sugar.

I like the offerings of Bai drinks.

It would behove everyone to reduce, if not eliminate, their intake of soda pop.
