Can someone post a link to images of tone rings? I’m trying to identify the tone ring in my Goldtone 4-string open back.

Thanks.

To my knowledge, the only officially "branded" tone ring Gold Tone has ever used is the JLS flathead ring in some of their higher end models. Otherwise, it's going to be a generic version of one of the various standard tone rings (flathead, archtop, tubaphone, whyte laydie, rolled rod, rolled bar)

If you can provide the model of your banjo, it may help.

Here's a link to their tone ring offerings, with photos: goldtonemusicgroup.com/goldton...s&sort=az

Thanks for the link. In the past I emailed Goldtone and asked about this banjo but they didn’t have any information. Not sure since there is a serial number on a sticker on the inside wall of the pot. I’ll ask again.

I looked at the photos in that link and it appears that my Goldtone has the White Ladye style.
