Anybody have any idea when these will be back in stock?
Soon I hope..or I will end up doing something really foolish..like getting the rk r76..which will max out my credit card and is way more banjo than I need at my current level.. in a year or two IF I make some serious progress I will be getting the 76..I need to stop looking at pictures of it every day..I swear it whispers to me in a seductive and sultry feminine voice.."C'mon baby..you know its me you really want..my little sisters nice and all but Im what you really want" LOL

China production/supply-chain problems? What about the RK-35?

Bill, I know its kinda petty and shallow of me but I just don't much care for the "flying eagle" inlay design..I really prefer the "Hearts and Flowers" and if I'm going to kick out that much money on something I should at least like the way it looks, right?
I like the looks and sound of the rk r20 but I LOVE the rk r76.

Actually, the RK 35 ( and 36) have a modified version of what's known as the "seagull" or "gull" inlay pattern.

The RK 75 has what is commonly referred to as "flying eagle" pattern

I kinda like the "gull" inlay, but I don't care for the real "flying eagle" inlay at all.

Sandhills-I checked that out but I don't know if they do a professional setup before shipping. As far as I know there isn't anyone near where I live that knows how to do that properly. One of the many things I have learned from BHO is setup, setup, and setup.
Also It looks like the newer (post 2022) version except the back looks different from other pics I have seen...doesn't have the rings on the back of the resonator.

The new/current version RK20 has a plain backed resonator with no  purfling rings.

Find a local RK dealer
I am one, too
I had access to an RK80 blem but the customer backed out

The RK R20 is a full set of great hardware.
The last rim changeout I did for one has had a Black Walnut rim in there for enough time to vintage well

Set up is a growing knowledge base

Also the better imports come out of the box ready to play but needing to be dialed in

Greg Rich has great specs and set up isn't part of the price

after dropping my goodtime in a fire it seemed to play better so as a backup just in case, I bought an rk35 to convert to openback but could not be done due to the flange so i bought a mint RK20 which has the shoe /brackets and can be converted, it is a quality machine and waiting in the case for me to set it free one day

Sweetwater in Indiana has one listed for sale. That's where I bought mine. I love it.
