Hi Friends
it is a while I don't post here on the hangout, I've been very busy, I'm back with this Stevie Wonder song: a very complex composition not easy to play on four string... anyway this is my attempt hope you enjoy!

Wonderful Paolo!
Your playing is so relaxed despite the complex melody. I also like your instrument, that open back sound.

Thank you Peter!
I like the open back sound, my banjo also has an all wood rim (without metal tone ring) I decided to play this kind of instrument because of our great friend Eddy Davis

Complex piece full of uncommon harmonies. Good boy! Incidentally, are there any of your students who have developed a passion for the banjo?

Hi Marco! Thank you, I think this is really a great pop song.. Stevie is really a Wonder :-)

My students are violin player so they don’t have much to do with banjo but my son Simone (you remember him as a little child) who studies Classic guitar at the conservatory has recently started to play tenor banjo and he has been hired to play the banjo part of Brecht-Weill opera Magonny with the synphonic orchestra of Como!

I love it! Big Stevie Wonder fan, it’s so great to see his music work in different settings. You would make him proud with your banjo rendition!
I recorded it On the ukulele once

well done Paolo!

I never saw Chick in concert, and I’m sad now that he’s gone, I saw many great american musician here in Italy: Miles,  Herbie Hancock,  Sun Ra, Jaco Pastorius and so on... but not Chick! Just few days ago I saw a great concert of Brad Mehldau here in Milan: great great concert!
