Anyone ever replace a broken stud on a vintage tail piece? Not sure how to remove it vintage Lyon and Healy tenor

Searched all the old post and found none guess I’ll try out a bolt and tap

I've done it with vintage Waverly balls on Vegas. The repros use a threaded stud but the originals did not. Drill and tap worked fine. The local ACE had the double0threaded studs I needed.

Thanks Mike I’ll go and find the parts did you say size double 00 tap? Not sure what size stud ?
