Hi everyone in the banjo world
I'm looking for information on
A banjo I purchased pre loved
I have taken it apart
And can't find any information on it. If anyone can help it would be really appreciated.
Thanks for the west of Ireland

Made by Stromberg-Voisinet of Chicago c. 1920's. They changed the name to Kay in 1931. This is the third one of these banjos to appear on this site in the last couple of days.
These were made for the beginner to mid-level player, they were not professional instruments even though they were well built. They are quite numerous and not especially valuable, but they make good players.

Culloden
Do you see a neck adjuster placed right at the top of the fretboard?
Mr. Mandotom - is there a metal "shim" placed between the heel and the rim. Can you see a screw head appearing in the bottom of the heel?

I didn't see the neck adjuster in the photos.
