Now that this shop has closed does anyone have recommendations for a luthier who can do repairs on a tenor guitar in the CT/MA area? (Sorry, not banjo-related.)

Thanks for any help.

Max Girouard [Girouard Mandolins] girouardmandolins.com/home.html in Glocester, RI.  Highly respected.

Lyn Ungar luthierlyn.com in Woodstock NY.  She worked on an old Martin belonging to a friend of mine in NY who didn't want to ship the guitar to me unless he had to.  He was very satisfied with her work.

Both are within driving distance.  How long a drive depends on how far out in the country you are.  I don't know anyone closer.

I hadn't heard that Tony closed up shop. I used to frequent his store regularly and have many fond memories of it. I hope that the circumstances behind its closing are positive.
