I don't play the banjo/ukulele but I have just been given this instrument. Please can anyone tell me more about it.

There are pictures on the OPs page. It's a John Grey and Sons. I think more pictures - a closeup of the peghead so we can read what that says might be useful. Also are there any clues in that printed writing on the case.

The peghead text is 'Trutone, Registered trademark' incorporating a graphic of a tuning fork. The case label is instruction for set up. The only additional term is 'Dulcetta'.

It looks to be a fairly typical London-made John Grey instrument from the c. 1920's.
