2004 was the first year for the Blackjack? I swore that I saw one at the Fret Mill in Roanoke, Virginia sometime before that. I left Virginia in 2003.

Greg Rich used that design, apparently originally a Gibson reject, before Gibson got interested and started using a design that Greg Rich had apparently rescued from the garbage while working for Gibson. You may have seen that design on a Rich and Taylor.

No, it was a Gibson. I used to be something of a lush but, even owl-eyed drunk, I could tell the difference between a Gibson and an R&T.
