A hit for them in 1964 , the title supposedly taken from one of Ringo’s malapropisms. It was their 7th no.1 song in just over a year. I play it fingerpicking style on the D-35 & added some gravelly John&Paul-esque harmony vocals.  Guitar arrangement by BHO member Fred Sokolow.

Chuck, I was a junior in hs in ‘64. The radio in my ‘57 Ford would play these songs about how love should be. Then in ‘65 I took my girlfriend to see the Beatles at Dodger stadium. A special time for all. Thanks for the memories.

Wow,, thnx, Don. Lucky you ,, I only saw them on the fast Eddie Sullivan “shoe”. They were in nearby Buffalo & Toronto but my $3 a week part time delivery job was only enough for the bus fare.
