A BHO member had previously Posted recently about USPS releasing a bluegrass stamp.

I apologize that I can’t recall the member to credit them, but I appreciate the info!

This stamp was released this past Friday 3/15.

I couldn’t help but to get a book and a few other things that were released.

Check the items out at the link below!

I was able to get to the unveiling, it was very nicely done. So appropriately held at the Bluegrass Museum and Hall of Fame in Owensboro.

I preordered a couple of sheets of the stamps and one each of everything else.   I figured it might be a while before we get another opportunity.  Everything is supposed to be delivered tomorrow (3/18)

I mentioned these stamps to my post office people and they are setting aside 3 pages for me when they show up.

I live in rural south east Tn. I went to the PO not only did they not have any, they’re probably not getting them. The ole boy or should I say the Post master said they’re still trying to get rid of Halloween stamps and had books of those. I didn’t get him started about Christmas, President day, mlk and so forth. I had to order on line. If any body collects Halloween stamps you may want to take a trip to Pikeville Tn. Good luck

I think you can order stamps from the USPS.

I ordered 6 books at our little rural post office last week. This morning he said "Do you want your stamps!" and I picked them up. Very nice.

I agree however, that we need a Bill Monroe stamp, someday somehow.

Also, if collect stamps, you can subscribe to the USPS Philatelist publication for free

My daughter's friend designed the new stamp for the post office. Her name is Heather Moulder. She lives in the Nashville area and is well known for her letter press prints. She also recently designed Travis Tritts latest poster.

Is it too soon to say, "When are they going to do an old-time music stamp?"

LOL. Seriously, this is a great stamp!
