You can put any style conversion neck you want on the banjo, but a 1926 TB1 would have had a straight-grain maple neck, and the headstock shape shown below, not the "coke bottle", which showed up in 1928

The peghead Scott shows above is what I know as the figure 8 peghead. I do prefer the looks of the Coke bottle peghead but, as Scott said, it was introduced a few years later.
Check out Clancy Mullins. He is a member here and had several new necks for sale recently. If I remember correctly one of them was along the lines of what you want.
