This is a shot, such as it is, of the backside of the peghead of my parts archtop, built in the early '70s. I just don't know enough about the tuner market to be able to tell what brand of tuners these are. If you can identify them, is that a good brand or a bargain basement brand?

At first glance Schaller tuners, rock solid tuners.

Look very much like Schallers to me. I had a set on a masterclone I played a lot over more than 25 years' ownership. They always performed faultlessly. In my experience, they are excellent tuners.

Look like Shallers, a good German-made brand. Take a button off - a square shaft would indicate Shaller.
