I have a really nice parts banjer that has some nice inlay on the neck. I've just never learned what the various patterns are. Can you name this inlay pattern? TIA.

Pretty much the Gibson “Hearts and Flowers” pattern.

Looking at card suits, though, it has more spades than hearts, and there are a few diamonds. No clubs, though. Flowers? Not so much.  The Gibson "Flying Eagle" pattern looks more like "Elf Shoes and Rolling Pins," so you have to take the given nmes with  grain of salt.

The Huber website shows several inlay patterns:  https://huberbanjos.com/mother-of-pearl-inlay/

LOL.

Personally, I'm seeing the eldritch elder god Cthulhu at the third fret. YMMV.

Names for Gibson inlay patterns can be perplexing.  Some of the names match the appearance, sometimes not.

I once heard Norman Blake humorously referring to the "Nick Lucas" pattern as "diamonds and propellors."
