I'm having trouble finding a good pattern to pick for this, and was wondering if someone could help, or even if I should try it in clawhammer.

( Note: I'm playing this song at a faster tempo with my family, so it's more upbeat.)

I love David Crowder's music and have played with several of his songs.. I'll fool with this today and let you know what I've come up with.

Hey LumpyBurrito1234 Come as you are is in 3/4 or 6/8 time. I played through it a couple of times. I recorded one and can email you the file if you like. PM me for my address.

You basically do a bum ditty ditty pattern. Give it a try and let me know if you want the audio file.

We just played this on Sunday. It’s in 6/8 time and key of A. I played bass so I can’t help you with a roll pattern but maybe this will help.

I remember now. This was the song that our music director sent in multiple keys. The YouTube recording was in C and I showed up with just the C chart. Fortunately in rehearsal after playing it and wondering why I sounded so bad after practicing with the video, I realized they were doing it in A. Yikes!
