Over the holiday I got back to scanning and added many more pieces of music as well as a few "tutors" or banjo instruction books to the Internet Archive.
These are all in the Public Domain and are free to use, play, publish, ignore, whatever.
I will soon be passing the 1000 document mark, with the vast majority being banjo related (there are a few harmonica and guitar books as well). Over the winter I plan on adding all of the S. S. Stewart sheet music that I have gathered (physically, as well as digitally) categorized by publication number.
There are some people on etsy, ABE books, Amazon, eBay, etc. that are taking these free download PDFs and selling them. While they are perfectly within their rights to do so, don't get scammed by them.
All of this is your property, use it or don't... but don't pay for it.
Thank you, Joel, for your valuable contributions in this area.
I second David's comment.
