This tune is dedicated to my dear late friend Johnny Herald. Johnny crashed at my NYC apt. whenever he visited the Village in NYC. Wonderful guy to know and so talented. Bob Yellin is a stellar banjo player. The Greenbriar Boys were so excellent...Jack

Cool…thanks Jack! Must have been pretty cool knowing some of the people you became aquainted with over the years.

Wasn’t Weissberg a GreenBriar Boy before he was with the Tarriers…very early on? Maybe playing bass or mandolin for them?

Thanks,

Dow

The song that introduced me to The Greenbriar Boys music was "Amelia Earhart's Last Ride".

So many great songs were done by the group.

Yes, He was with the Greenbriar Boys and then replaced Eric Darling and joined the Tarriers later on. I met Eric Darling at Dorothy Hortsman's party in NYC and he was wonderful.Thank you for the heads up...Jack
