Thread drift heads-up: I suspect that Al's camera/phone has either a 13.0 D or a 16.0 D lens. Those are what the doc put in when he did my cataract surgery. While it improved my distance vision it kinda screwed with my close vision. Now, straight lines sometimes appear curved, parallel lines sometimes very un-parallel, sometimes makes plumb things look tilted, etc. And to exacerbate the issue (?), 4 years in and the optometrist has been unable to get the bi-focal part of the lens positioned "just right" ... I'm repeatedly advised that the bi-focal lenses are the "correct" ones. End of whine .... for now.
