For Sale: one of Earl Scruggs’ personal Gibson Earl Scruggs Special banjos. This banjo was built by Gibson and given to Earl in 1997. Earl played this banjo at home and later gifted it to Marty Stuart who needed a banjo of Earl’s to accompany a guitar of Lester’s in an exhibit. This banjo is in beautiful condition and sounds absolutely incredible. I am able to provide documentation that states authenticity that this banjo was owned and played by Earl . Personally, that's way too much to pay for any banjo, even one owned by Earl himself.
Maybe someone will buy it, but it's wayyyyyyy out of my price range.
