I am test driving a banjo with one on the 5th and I keep breaking strings while tuning to g. 3 so far.
I like the look of the Waverly, but I started putting a pair of fine needle-nose pliers in my case to make it easier to remove the remaining string after a break -- although I don't have a problem with frequent breaking of 5th string.
