This is an excellent condition early 1930 TB-1 Conversion that I have decided to sell....The neck is fabulous, with a great action...it was done by Bill Hayes from a 40 year old piece of straight grain hard rock maple, with Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard...the period matching neck with bats and gulls inlays....he the second inside piece of binding was added to match on the resonator and done perfectly! It has the early 811 version of the Sloan tone ring which IMO sounds fabulous!! This is one of those banjos that rattles your chest when you hit the 4th string which I like!!
