I don't know how to do this one on the banjo. I guess my default is to always start a capella. And then if I can add a little banjo something in those in-between spaces. Any other ideas? Help?

What? You mean you can't just patch a bunch of licks together? First the "foggy mountain lick," then "the square roll," etc. Or follow the "it's-your-banjo-play-it-any-way-you want" advice.
Seriously, there are some songs that are not suited to the banjo, same as some songs not suited to the trumpet or another instrument. This is one of them. I'd sit out on this one.
