Well, April Fools was on us this morning!!! Woke up to a pile of wet snow and 30 MPH winds. Guess I get to blow snow and plow all afternoon!!! My neighbor and his family are supposed to be home from 2 weeks in Hawaii tomorrow. Lucky for him I like them and he won’t have to deal with trying to get to his house when they get home !!!

Like a good neighbor.... Slammer..is there!! Hey have you though about moving down my way. I would trade out for you than the guy behind me. Just kidding..He has a couple of hound/coon dogs now. You know what I ‘m talking about if you ever been around coon hounds. Use to be so peaceful around here.

Gee, it's in the 80s here, all the trees are in leafing out, all my blub plants are shooting up, grass is getting green. Spring has sprung!

No, not really , just a little jealous this time of year. It’s been a long winter and we’re not done yet evidently. This was the heaviest wettest snow we’ve had this year and I’m over it !!! The snow plow and the snowblower were both grunting and I’m not done yet, just taking a break before I tackle the neighbors road and driveway.

We are having pocket thunderstorms with wind gusts in excess of 50 MPH. Luckily up here on my ridge, everything is mostly going around us, but everyone around us is getting hammered. Good sized trees down, no power, lots of roof damage. Happy April Fools day, indeed!
I'm not bragging about the cold sleety drizzle we're having now! We've got the woodstove on to drive off the damp!
Finished up snow blowing and plowing and wouldn’t have been so bad but the damn wind was miserable and blowing from every direction!!! I was soaking wet and chilled to da bone!!! Fixed me a stiff cocktail and and went and sat in da Sauna to take da chill out , took a nice icy/hot shower and too tired to cook dinner. Picked up a pizza from our favorite local spot and gonna sleep good tonight !!! Ol man winter and Mother Nature kicked my arse today!!!
