I just read a Tweet by Elon Musk saying that he, after the unsuccessful project with Twitter, plans to invest in another social media that has about 130,000 members with many different interests, even if it from the beginning was focused on music. He says that the many interests among the communities members is a good base for developing. Read his Tweet here.

Horrors! What if he were to cut the mods’ salaries?
Or bring back all the banished members?
Allow discussion of politics, religion and Covid?
And most frightening of all—inaugurate an accordion forum?!

Well, the moderators would get replaced with AI.

If fact, there would be AI bot members that would be doing most of the answering. There are plans for the following members:
- JohnnyAlwaysAnswers First
- Miriam DidntEvenReadTheWholeQuestion
- HenryReminds UsHeMetEarlOnce
- TimmyBeenPlayingTwoWeeksButWeighsInOnEverything
- ComedyCarl QuickToQuip

If he did I think he should buy us all a prewar Gibson 5-String banjo since I've heard he could afford to.

I don’t know if Elon would buy the hangout. I talked to him last night he said he was considering the purchase but it comes with to many strings attached and to make it viable he would have to do away with the off topic forums.

Well, if he's ever tried to tune a banjo and keep it tuned, I seriously doubt it.

One day he walked into his new Tesla factory and fired 200 employees. He would probably fire any visitor to the Hangout who disagrees with him . It's been nice knowing you guys. He would probably develop a banjo that plays beer barrel polka when you rotate a small crank on the side of the body. He will call it the prewar edition because he has yet to start an actual war.

Not a cranked banjo, no sirree!.

More likely one of these electronic items, where moving your finger through the infrared beam will play one of VERY FEW pre-programmed songs.

No room for creativity.

Just out of curiosity I wonder how much do we on this forum actual spend per person buying products from the advertisers. It's been gosh over Ten years since I purchased anything from an advertiser.

Shhhhhhh!!!

Actually, for me it's probably been 3 years since my last purchase, but I've made several in the time I've been here.  I know it's blasphemy, but how many banjos and how much banjo stuff do we really need?

Than tune probably harks back to the days when the musk from wild animals had commercial value, in hunting lures or perfume making.
Right bouncy tune, but could have used a bit more BANJO.

If he bought the Cox Banjo factory he could cover his newest model with shaggy dog hair and call it the ' Musk-Cox.'

I like the way our Franco-Americans play Money Musk. They have as much drive as any bluegrass fiddler.

I've got to learn "Gray Owl" by 1pm Thursday.I've never heard it before. Here goes nothing.

The only special place is the one extra beat between the 2nd and 3rd measures of the A part.Molly Tuttle tears it up.
