Here's a fun tune from Doug Dillard. He tunes his banjo to Sawmill or Mountain Modal as some call it. G, D, G, C, D Big p.s. If I make a huge mistake please let me know so I don't mislead folks. I'm not at all sensitive about being corrected when I mess up....HA....thanks folks...

Jack Baker - I am an absolute Doug Dillard nut, and I have to say, you did not miss anything. This is spot on! When I learned this tune off the "Live Almost" album way back, I did not know about sawmill tuning. I fretted (and still do today!) the B string to get the C note. Like always, I purely enjoy your transcriptions. Well done! (Now, I need to learn it the proper way to tune and play this song!)
Nobody ever plays this tune! Learned it early on cause it reminded a bit of clinch mtn. bckstp. in the first part.
