Just bought a Deering banjo ukulele. FedEx will deliver it this Friday. Does anyone already have one. Let me know how you like it. I do play ukulele and do play banjo ( beginner). In the same order, getting a Mike’s Banjo Mute. Now I can practice Banjo without disturbing my wife. Steve

I've had one for years and love it. With the gut strings, it's not that loud. Enables greater picking ability as well, if you're so inclined. Easy to maintain (as all Deerings are). It's a blast to play and you'll enjoy the heck out of it. Congratulations on a good purchase. Check out this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ix1OJ5Jq8mM

Long story but I got a Gold Tone Little Gem banjo uke for free and it is kinda fun. Have not learn a lot about it but having fun just strumming chords. I lost about 1/2" of my left middle finger and the stubb is really tender so the nylon strings are better than steel strings but I have to develop new chord forms because I can't reach all the way across the neck.
Have fun the small instrument is going to be a great traveler and camper.

Deering concert banjo ukulele.  17 frets. 11" pot.  I found out later, that I could have special ordered  it w/ a resonator like the one on the YouTube video shown on above reply. Deering also has a tenor. You have to use search to find the tenor model. Comparing the tenor with the concert, the concert is brighter, louder and the tenor has more bass. Tenor has 12" pot. Concert has 11" pot. Steve.
